We’re vegan shoe obsessed!
We know how hard it can be to find vegan shoe options that are still affordable and stylish. Our Vegan collection has been extended to a large number of our products and features components free of any animal products or by-products, including the glue and outsole. We use man made materials and treatments to ensure that all components are animal free, while still maintaining the quality, look and feel of the product so that no detail is spared. Every shoe is this collection is officially registered with the Vegan Society.

Is there any other way to celebrate the start of summer than with a brunch party?
Here at Blowfish Malibu we love to throw events! For our Europe division, we thought it would be fun to kick off the summer with a private influencer brunch at Farmacy London. This intimate brunch was a great chance to finally meet and connect in person with influencers we have worked with on social campaigns. This past weekend we teamed up with The Surfrider Foundation and The Sak to celebrate World Oceans Day by hosting an amazing beach clean up at Topanga State Beach in Malibu.
Almost 100 volunteers spent their Saturday morning picking up over 95 pounds of trash from the beach over the course of two hours. Much of this was plastic litter that could have stayed in our marine environment for generations. A majority of the items collected were cigarette butts (800) and plastic food wrappers (113).
Everyone who participated received a pair of shoes from our 4Earth by Blowfish Malibu collection as a thank you.
These events are, hands down, some of our favorites we get to do as a brand. There’s nothing better than getting to meet and see our local community come out and do good for the planet. We love talking to everyone about our 4Earth collection and what we’re doing through our Making Waves Campaign. To date, through the 4Earth project, we have repurposed over 1 million plastic bottles and have donated over $100k to Oceana, an organization that is dedicated to cleaning the world’s oceans! We are so grateful to be able to partner with such amazing organizations and brands that are committed to being socially and environmentally responsible.

Blowfish Malibu is committed to making changes and taking steps in the right direction and that means doing more to reduce our footprint on the planet throughout the year. Through our 4Earth Project and (super cute) collection, we have been able to reduce the use of plastic in our packaging and continue to work on using recycled materials in our shoes where we can.

Last night, the Blowfish Malibu team celebrated the launch of our 4Earth collection for SS22 at a new hot-spot in Hollywood, Grandmaster Recorders. Friends, editors, and many more gathered to check out the new line, snag a new pair of shoes for themselves and enjoy drinks and bites on a rooftop under the iconic Hollywood sign. Go behind the scenes of our spring and summer photoshoot in sunny Palm Springs!
Another season, another photoshoot! The Blowfish Malibu team headed out to the legendary Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs, California, for a colorful shoot for our Spring/Summer 2021 collection. The hotel is full of vibrant pops of color, flashy hues and ultra saturated tones. Our new spring and summer 2021 collection follows suit. It is super bright and colorful, and filled with tie dye and hot hues. So, obviously the Saguaro made perfect sense! (Want to see some of the new product? Keep scrolling for a little peek!)
Our team spent two days there shooting for both Womens and Kids back in November, 2020. So, that gave us a ton of time to prep and get assets ready for the upcoming season. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to – so take a look!
