This past weekend Blowfish Malibu and @blowfishmalibukids kicked off Mother’s Day weekend with an amazing lunch at the @lazoo. It was great to see everyone in person for this special event. Guests got to bring their families and enjoy a catered lunch, loads of games, and a fun activation by @athleta. Special thanks to our additional sponsors @wubbanub and @gothinkco. We also had a caricature artist to draw family portraits and the results were amazing! Guests were then free to explore the Zoo with their families. Overall we are so happy we were able to celebrate together for such a special day.

Celebrating all of the beautiful mamas out there.
Mothers all across the world deserve endless appreciation for the tireless work they do. They love, support, teach, empower, and care for their children, day in and day out. So what better way to celebrate Mother’s Day, than to shower some of our favorite local mamas with love. (And flowers! And sweets!)
For our Mommy & Me party, we recently gathered at an adorable backyard wonderland to love on all of the incredible Blowfish Malibu mothers. We teamed up with our friend Mikayla Shocks and her family to host a fabulous afternoon brunch party. The soiree was complete with a DIY flower crown bar from Walden Floral LA and a full (and delicious!) brunch menu from Dish Catering. And for extra fun, there was complimentary face painting and henna tattoos.
We were so thrilled to send every little gal in attendance home with a brand new pair of shoes from Blowfish Malibu Kids. In addition, the mamas received an adorable (and super handy) Blowfish Malibu denim tote to help make their busy lives a little easier.
We loved spoiling the mamas and kids in LA, and we can’t wait for the next event!

Really, where would we be without them? Mother’s Day gives us a chance to reflect and appreciate all that our moms do for us. Through every turn in life, she is there giving never ending support, abundant love, and a shoulder to lean on. Plus moms give the best hugs!
Many of us here at Blowfish Malibu are mothers, and we are constantly in awe of the super-hero strength that they exude on a daily basis. We consider ourselves lucky to be surrounded by such incredible, strong, extraordinary women. We have also loved getting to know a lot of the Blowfish Malibu mamas (and little ones) out there who have been rockin’ our shoes every so cooly. You ladies are our inspiration. None of us would be the same without you, and we are here to say thank you, and to send love and good vibes your way today (and everyday).
