Our Vegan collection has been extended to a large number of our products and features components free of any animal products or by-products, including the glue and outsole. We use man made materials and treatments to ensure that all components are animal free, while still maintaining the quality, look and feel of the product so that no detail is spared. All products are officially registered with the Vegan Society.

Blowfish Malibu is committed to taking a step in the right direction and to do our best to find new resources that help us make less of an impact on the environment.
Going forward, Blowfish Malibu will utilize BLOOM pellets in all shoes featuring insoles in our Women’s collections. This technology uses algae to create pellets which are then used as a sustainable material in consumer products. BLOOM allows companies like Blowfish Malibu to innovate and create more eco-conscious products with measurable impacts.
BLOOM combines algae with base polymers to make resin pellets that can then be used as sustainable ingredients for consumer products.
Since 2006, Soles 4 Souls have gotten 83 million pairs of shoes and pieces of clothing to people in 129 countries and all 50 US states.
The team at Blowfish Malibu is committed to donating any excess products to Soles for Souls in order to help support their initiatives.
On average, Americans throw away 70 pounds of textiles (shoes and clothing) per person, per year. Thanks to our friends at Zappos, you can put shoes you no longer need - new or gently used, please - to good use by donating to Soles 4 Souls.
You can ship shoe donations free of charge through the Zappos website. Multiple boxes will be accepted. Please limit box weight to 50 pounds. Continental US shipping only.
