Fall is for Neutrals

Ease into Fall with effortless earth tones and easy going neutrals.

As the seasons change and wardrobes shift, so does our “favorite things” list. On top of that list? Neutrals. Soft neutral color schemes such as khaki, taupe, ivory, and beige are perfect tones as we tiptoe into Fall fashion. Not only do these colors produce a comfortable vibe, they pair effortlessly with everything in your closet. Wearing a soft neutral shoe creates an effortlessly sophisticated look and, I mean, who doesn’t want that?

Luckily, we here at Blowfish Malibu are coming out with new styles featuring our favorite neutral colors.

The Stood Up ankle boot and Sistee ankle boot, two of our best fall styles, are the shoes you *need* right now.

We think you’ll love these styles just as much as we do.

Stood Up

Stood Up is a low-ankle, stacked leather-wrapped heel boot with a ruched upper. The ankle zipper with branded pull allows for easy on/off. This cutie is casual with a touch of chic, just like the California girl: understated and laid back.

Sistee

Sistee takes a cue from our past classic styles. This style features a stacked leather-wrapped heel, decorative straps with dented buckles, an envelope fold, and an inside zipper that allows you to slip into these with ease.

These two styles go with everything. You can wear them with the classic look of jeans and a tee, or dress them up with a bohemian dress. Making a statement won’t be an issue any longer. (Especially if you’re on a budget!) As a major shoe lover, Stood Up and Sistee’s fashion-forward design instantly gives your look an interesting vibe. Pair these boots with a cropped trouser, short skirt, or skinny pants to show off the most detail of the shoe.

Now that you know what’s on top of our “Fall favorites” list, we want to know yours! Let us know what you are most looking forward to this season.

How We are Styling Shoes with Socks this Fall

Three ways our favorite fall shoes are getting paired with socks for a cute, layered look.

Fall is one of our most favorite time of year. (Hello Pumpkin Spice Latte!) The festive pumpkin patches, cozy blankets, and heartwarming recipes makes this season one of the most anticipated and beloved yearly occasions. But one of the things we absolutely look forward to each fall is the seasonal evolution our wardrobe undergoes. With the drop in temperature, we are excited to break out our chunky sweaters, favorite denim, and fall accessories as we try out some fresh new looks!

But we’re not stopping there…

We’re taking our look to a new level this fall by pairing our favorite shoes with fun and fashionable socks. Check it out below!

Booties + Grey frilly socks

An undeniable fall staple are the booties, the ultimate fave of faves. Plain and simple, friends, we adore them. Add our favorite flannel and skinny jeans, and you’re basically looking at our fall uniform. We paired mid-length grey socks with a ruffle trim to match our Sill bootie to add a charming and feminine touch to our tomboy look.

Sneakers + White fishnet socks

Fall is all about comfort, right? So in an effort to remain comfy, while also staying California-chic of course, we paired our distressed black canvas sneaker, Cora, with white fishnet socks. We topped off this modern look with high-waist structured denim and a pretty blush blazer.

Wedges + Short black frills

We would not be able to get through the season without wedges. I’m sure you fashionistas would agree! For this day-to-night fall look, we paired a fitted black dress and denim jacket with our Breaks wedges and some low black socks with dainty trim peeking out the top of the shoe. The look is casual, comfortable, and uber cool.

Which combo is your favorite and how will you be recreating this look for fall?
