Discover LA: Malibu’s Country Mart

In our latest Discover LA series, we visit Malibu’s Country Mart.

If you live in LA and have never been to Malibu’s Country Mart, it’s time you hop in your car and hit PCH ASAP. Because, quite frankly, you’re missing out! A shopper’s paradise, the Country Mart is minutes from the ocean and a short walk to the Malibu Pier. It has expanded in size throughout the years, but it has consistently been a hot spot for celebs. Most days you can eye your favorite celebrities shopping or enjoying a bite at one of the popular dining spots.

The Country Mart is not your typical shopping plaza. This shopping experience boasts upscale boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, juice cafes, professional services like car detailing, and one very popular playground. Don’t feel like shopping? Maybe popping into one of the yoga studios for a class is more up your alley. Enjoy a fresh, organic smoothie after class to top it off.

Malibu’s Country Mart has always been a special place for me.

I spent most weekends of my childhood at the mart. I went from being a little kid playing in the sandbox, to making the Mart my first destination to drive to as a teenager when I finally got my driver’s license. As I grew older, I enjoyed celebratory dinners with family and friends at the Mart. And now, I always try to visit when I’m in Malibu, even if just for a latte at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. This is a place that reminds me of home and will always be a beloved spot for me and my family.

So, have you ever ventured over to the Malibu’s Country Mart? What’s your favorite part about it?
