7 Trader Joe’s Products to Love Right Now

A list of the seven best products available at Trader Joe’s right now.

In Los Angeles, we live a charmed life. We are blessed with picture-perfect weather and tons of diversity, culture, and city life. We also have one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country… idyllic beaches, gorgeous mountains, and the magical desert are just footsteps away.

One more HUGE bonus? We are blessed with the legendary Trader Joe’s. The. Best. Grocery. Store. Ever.

While everyone has their own basketful of must-buys at TJ’s, I wanted to share mine with you today. Next time you are in LA  — or at your own local Trader Joe’s — give these items a try!

  1. Cauliflower Gnocchi

You know that meme that’s like, “Welcome to your 30s, everything you eat is made from cauliflower now.” Well, that’s fine by me. If you dump enough parmesan cheese on top, this stuff tastes like the real thing. When I’m feeling extra Top Chef-y, I’ll even toss the gnocchi in some brown butter.

  1. Brownie Crisp Coffee Ice Cream Sandwiches

I don’t even know where to start with Trader Joe’s Brownie Crisp Coffee Ice Cream Sandwiches. It’s like somebody blended coffee ice cream with fresh espresso beans and then sandwiched it between two perfectly crisp-but-fudgy brownies. Seriously, bring me three of these and a plate of cauliflower.

  1. Giardiniera

This jar of slightly spicy pickled cauliflower, peppers, carrots and cucumbers is everything you need to feed a craving. Eat these Italian pickled veggies right from the container. Or add them to your sandwiches and salads. To really impress your friends, throw them in a funky mason jar and tell your girls you pickled them yourself.

  1. Sprouted Whole Grain Pizza Crust

When I’m feeling healthy (and extra), I’ll use Trader Joe’s Sprouted Whole Grain Pizza Crust to make one very enormous, round avocado toast. It is — by far — the most LA thing I do. For extra points, add shaved radishes, lemon zest and fancy sea salt.

  1. 100% Mango Juice from Carabao Mangoes

Making cocktails? On a smoothie kick? Trying to reformulate LaCroix at home? Start with this stuff. It’s perfectly sweet and the flavor will bring you right back to your favorite beach in Hawaii. Also, huge bonus points for TJ’s for selling juice in reasonably-sized cans. Because who can get through a gallon of puréed mango in one week?

  1. Henry Hotspur’s Hard Pressed for Rosé Cider

Do you think rosé is just for summer? Think again. It’s also perfectly acceptable for fall now. TJ’s has combined the sweetness of summer with the apple-ness of autumn… which means I will be drinking rosé until Black Friday.

  1. Cold Brew Coffee Bags

Every time I pay $5 for a giant iced cold brew, I think to myself, “there’s got to be a way to make this at home.” Well, now there is, and you don’t need a degree in chemistry to figure it out. This stuff is the caffeine addict’s version of overnight oats: foolproof, dependable and delicious.
